You don’t always need expensive reproductions for a pretty retro look. As I already told you in this blog post, I also find beautiful clothes at “modern” shops . I bought the pretty mini dress with leopart print during my trip to Berlin Fashion Week at & Other Stories, for example.

To add a retro touch to my outfit, I’m wearing very classy accessories. The stockings are by Secrets in Lace and this time without seams. Especially for a daytime look I think they are a glamorous alternative. Due to their coffee colour, even my pale legs look beautifully tanned in them. The “Dita’s Daytime Sheer” stockings are designed together with the one and only Dita Von Teese. The Queen of Burlesque created some more gorgeous stockings together with Secrets in Lace, which you can shop here.

To finish my outfit I chose sunglasses by Miu Miu, earrings from Glitter Paradise, and vintage pearls. All in all this is a quite modern 60s look and perfect for every day.

PS: If you prefer fully fashioned stockings with seams, you should check out this and this blog post.

  1. SO beautiful! Lady you always blow me away with the stunning locations in your photos and how beautifully you style everything! I am yet to own anything in leopard print but you are seriously making me want to – I wouldn’t mind starting with a pair of sunnies like yours – they are so fabulous 😀

    1. Thank you so much Harlow!
I love leopart print. I have some more stuff with this print which I will wear more often whent it’s fall in Germany.
The sunnies are my favs. I really like them and how they add that certain something to a lot of outfits.

      Many hugs,
      Sandra <3

  2. Oh, Sandra, what an incredible dress. Sometimes leopard print can seem over the top, but there is something slightly more subtle about this print and it’s perfect. Yours is the second post in my feed this morning about Secrets in Lace and I feel I should really try them – I have always stuck to WKD for my ‘special’ stockings and tights. You can see the quality of these even from the photos. I also really like that slightly darker, almost-coffee shade. I absolutely loathe the horrible colour often called ‘barely black’ but the subtler darker shades can be so classy and elegant. I was walking down the street recently behind an otherwise very elegant professional woman (I guessed a lawyer – it was that part of London) in an expensive charcoal pencil skirt suit and her hosiery was an awful shade that wasn’t black, wasn’t grey and wasn’t brown, and just looked cheap and uncomfortable . She needed either a fine sheer black or a shade like yours. Thanks for making me to decide once and for all to take a look at Secrets in Lace! Karen x

    1. Thank you so much Karen!
Secrets in Lace has amazing stockings and the quality is gorgeous. I own true vintage nylon stockings and the ones from Secrets in Lace look and feel exactly the same.
Normally, I’m not a big fan of brown colours when it comes to tights or stockings, but this colour is really beautiful and perfect, even for my very pale skin.

Take a look at Secrets in Lace, I’m sure you won’t regret it!!

      Many hugs,
      Sandra <3

  4. Umm, can we all collectively say “wow”, because this outfit more than deserves it! What a chic, stylish summertime look that highlights your killer legs superbly. I really, really like this outfit and think it’s incredibly becoming on you.

    Big hugs,
    ♥ Jessica
