As I already mentioned in this blogpost, I went on a little excursion through the modern fashion jungle. My mission: Finding the latest trends that we vintage ladies are going to love as well. While doing my research, I stumbled upon the beautiful trend colours of 2019, published in the Patone Fashion Colour Trend Report by the Pantone Institute. The bright and fun shades are perfect for those dreary February days, so have fun and get inspired!

Trend Colour 2019: Lemon Verbena

Lemon Verbena brings summer back, at least optically. ,-) The light yellow looks fresh and definitely reminds me of my last summer vacation at the sea.

How to wear Lemon Verbena

In my opinion, this colour suits every skin tone. If you are as pale as I am, simply apply a little bit of blush and/or bronzer to look fresher. Lemon Verbena looks great as an all-over look, but also goes well with neutral shades like white, cream, beige, and black. If you like, you can also team this colour with denim.

Colour of the Year 2019: Living Coral

Living Coral is the colour of the year 2019! This light coral shade looks very summery and can also be found in the beauty and interior industry, this year.

How to style Living Coral:

To let this colour shine as bright as possible, it’s best to wear it in combination with neutrals like white or black. I also like to team corals with fancy and sparkly ethno jewellery.

Trend Colour 2019: Fiesta

Fiesta is a bright orangy red and therefore perfect for summer! When wearing this colour, I always feel like I’m on vacation. So this shade is definitely one of my all-time favourites.

How to wear Fiesta:

This fiery colour looks great in combination with black. If you like it more fashionable, I recommend colour-blocking. Try to team Fiesta with pink or even blue! (You will find a very extraordinary colour-combination here, for example). And in my opinion, golden jewellerys look better in combination with such orange shades than silver ones.

Trend Colour 2019: Pressed Rose

Pressed Rose is a beautiful light and warm pink. This shade looks quite romantic and nostalgic, so it’s no wonder that I really love it!

How to style Pressed Rose:

Pressed Rose is such a pretty colour that can be easily combined. If you prefer a romantic, cheerful look, I recommend garments in this colour with ruffels and frills. This shade looks great with warm cream shades, but also goes well with grey or black. And if you choose rather minimalistic clothes, Pressed Rose is also a great shade for your business outfit.

Trend Colour 2019: Pink Peacock

Pink Peacock gehört zu den Trendfarben 2019, hier präsentiert RetroCat diese Farbe

And now it’s going to be fancy! Pink Peacock is such an eye-catcher and a very theatralic shade that makes your complexion shine!

How to team Pink Peacock:

This bright pink looks great as an all-over look, but can also be teamed with black. If you are really fashion forward, try to wear it with yellow or Fiesta. Pink Peacock looks great with silver jewellery and accessories, by the way.

Princess Blue

Princess Blue is a bright royal blue that kind of reminds me of Duchess Chatherine’s style. This is such a glamorous colour and definitely a head-turner.

How to style Princess Blue:

Princess Blue looks great with different shades of blue, but can alse be teamed with black or even pink. Just be brave and experiment! 😉
