Collectif Clothing Shop is closing: Get your hands on the brand’s last retro clothes now
In the fall of 2014 I went on a short trip to London. Our hotel was close to Spitalfields Market. While walking around the hotel, one shop immediately caught my eye: Collectif Clothing. To be honest, I had never heard of the brand before, and I didn’t own any retro clothing up until that point. So I walked into the store and was blown away. Magical dresses with flared skirts, cute prints as far as the eye can see and great tops. I ended up buying a cherry top (currently still available at Ars Vivendi*) and a matching cardigan (seen in this post). But back home the style wouldn’t let me go. I ordered from Collectif Clothing every now and then (it wasn’t that expensive back then, before Brexit) and basically found my style through this brand. To this day I still wear vintage-inspired fashion.
Now I have learned that the brand unfortunately has to close its doors forever. You can no longer order directly online. In this blog post I’ll tell you where you can still get clothes from Collectif Clothing.

All Londoners or those who are currently there are lucky. From August 1st to 4th, 2024 you can buy the last Collectif clothes directly on site in the Camden Market Store & Cameden Hawley Wharf Store.
If you can’t make it to London spontaneously, you can still get hold of clothes from Collectif Clothing online at some retro shops. The pieces have been selling super quickly since the closure was announced, so if something pretty is still available in your size, grab it now.

Of course I’m super sad that the brand will no longer exist. The Pearl Coat in particular has accompanied me through the winter for years and always receives lots of compliments…
