An elegant late summer look
As soon as August starts, I slowly but surely get into the mood for autumn. Somehow midsummer is almost over – at least in our latitudes. The light changes, when it rains it is often really fresh and sometimes there is even deep fog. Of course, the days are still usually quite warm. But I’m more interested in more muted colors than summery yellow and light pink. That’s why here comes a perfect outfit for late summer. It is even suitable for warm autumn days.

The Giorgia dress Bella Ciao from the Lena Hoschek Fresco collection
When I saw the Giorgia dress “Bella Ciao” I knew immediately that I absolutely needed it. I like these slightly darker summer dresses that look stylish and extremely elegant. Dresses that can be worn during the day as well as in the evening. The ornamental decorations simply look uniquely beautiful and, in combination with the simple yet sophisticated cut, make it simply perfect for late summer.

A dress like this can definitely handle a lot of accessories. When the UK brand QueenMee Accessories* approached me and asked if I would like to choose something, I was blown away when I found the headband shown in the pictures. I mean, doesn’t it look like it was practically made for the dress? By the way: with the code SANDRA 10 you get a 10% discount on your order from QueenMee Accessories*.
My makeup look for the late summer look
At the moment I like to wear slightly more natural make-up looks that are quick and still look great.
As a base I wear my beloved Chanel CC cream with sun protection factor. Above that are the powder pearls from Guerlain. They were really very expensive, but I still use my powder pearls that I bought years ago. So they are really very productive. I use a matte brown eyeshadow on my eyelids and as brow powder. I emphasize my eyelashes with the cake mascara from BesamĂ© (e.g. via TopVintage*). This can be used to emphasize the eyelashes very subtly. So they still look very natural. A look that I particularly like at the moment. Plus, you’ll feel like a Hollywood diva from the 20s when you apply this.
A little blush on the cheeks and a touch of bronze lipstick and the look is ready. Add a simple ponytail that looks voluminous and glamorous in no time thanks to the hairpiece (via Amazon*).
