How to look elegant in a sweater

When the icy autumn wind blows through the streets and fog settles over the landscape, I prefer to wear cozy, warm sweaters. You don’t have to freeze in it, even during long walks. They can also be styled quite elegantly. In everyday life, for example with simple leggings. Otherwise, I also like to wear sweaters in combination with pretty skirts. I’ll show you one of my favorite sweater outfits for fall and winter in this blog post.

Sweater meets Swing Skirt

Sweaters and swing skirts go wonderfully together, as this look proves. What’s particularly cool is that my sweater is cropped and ends at waist level. Small puffed sleeves also always look super exciting.

A brooch embellishes the sweater and makes the look look even more vintage. I’m wearing a blouson in a 1940s look from 18nulleins on top. By the way, it was custom-made and is therefore a one-off, but similar models are available on the brand’s website (see outfit details).

RetroCat with black fishnet tights with red seam from Gerbe Paris

On really cold days, I of course wear warm thermal tights with my skirt. On the slightly warmer days, however, I prefer pretty seamed stockings. This model is something very special: black fishnet tights with red seams from Gerbe. I was able to find another model on Ebay*. Unfortunately, it seems that the French brand no longer exists. 🙁
