Fashion à la Mad Men: An Early 60s Inspired Dress By Voodoo Vixen

Mad Men isn’t my absolute favourite series, nevertheless I really enjoy watching it every now and then, mainly because of the wonderful retro fashion. Janie Bryant, the costume designer of Mad Men, did a great job and created absolutely authentic looks. Every film character is always perfectly styled from head to toe. The comfortable lilac swing dress by Voodoo Vixen reminds me pretty much of the early 60s style and could be right out Mad Men’s dressing room.

The soft colour, cute collar and beautiful back neckline make this dress a real head-turner. If you prefer a tighter fit, you maybe like this version more. To finish the look, I wore white accessories and a true vintage petticoat. I also replaced the lilac belt with a white vintage model.
