A glamorous 40s look with the Diamond Heel Stockings by Secrets in Lace

I always get a lot of style inspiration from the 1940s: I really love the simple elegance of this time. Thanks to my red swing skirt by The House Of Foxy my outfit is perfect for both, evening and daytime.

In this blog post I showed a perfect daytime combination, here you will find a glamorous evening look. This time I decided to wear the skirt with a black top and only a few accessories. Earrings, bracelet, and handbag – everything is true vintage.

With an outfit like this, you are perfectly dressed for the day, but in the evening, I want a little bit more glamour. Authentic fully fashioned nylon stockings not only keep you warm during a cool night, but also add that certain something to your retro outfit. Mine are by Secrets in Lace and manufactured on the same machines used in the 40s. As soon as you slip in those back-seam stockings you will feel like a true vintage lady. I really love the details on the heel and of course the name: Natalie Diamond Heel. I mean, every girl loves diamonds.
