Sorbet colours are my favourite shades on hot summer days! And as I just found out, they are absolutely en vogue, even in today’s fashion. My favourite colour combination is mint and pink, by the way. So I was super happy when I saw that Secrets in Lace offers some very lovely seamed stockings in a lot of different shades. The Premier Spanish Heel stockings in “Mint” have a tone on tone seam and leg colour which makes them a real head-turner. Those pastel shades are perfect for hot days, as I think dark seams can look a bit harsh in combination with light summer dresses.

A Summer Look inspired by the 50s
To match my mint green stockings, I chose a summer dress in the same colour. The dress is called “Sophie” and I already showed it in this blog post. However, the brand is called “Tiga Lily” now and no longer “Wiener Kreation”.
As I already mentioned, I especially like the combination of mint and light pink. This is why I chose rose coloured accessories like earrings by Glitter Paradise and a very special true vintage hat made of light pink artificial flowers! Pink high heels add a modern touch to the 50s outfit and are a great contrast to the green stockings. If you prefer a more subtle look, just wear a simple pair of white pumps like these for example, instead of colourful heels. A vintage handbag as well as mint green gloves finish the retro outfit.
