There is nothing that screams summer like sunscreen, ice cream, and light, cool colours. On hot days, Pastel shades are at least an optical cooling, and when the weather isn’t that good, they raise my spirits. This time, I chose a light blue – from head to toe.

The Floral Swing Dress “Vanessa” is made of a light cotton fabric and therefore perfect for summer. The flared skirt looks best with a short petticoat underneath, while a white vintage belt emphasises the waist. Short sleeves protect the shoulders from the sun and the floral print is simply amazing.
A hairflower by Sophisticated Lady as well a shell bracelet from my latest vacation in Croatia make the look even more summery. Another highlight of my retro outfit are the baby blue stockings by Secrets in Lace.
Blue Stockings for warm Days: The Premier Spanish Heels by Secrets in Lace
Just like the mint green stockings I featured in this blog post, the Premier Spanish Heels in blue have a tone on tone seam and leg colour. I can’t even believe how perfectly they match the colour of the “Vanessa” dress!
The striking seam adds that certain something to the summer outfit and is a real eye-catcher. As always, the Secrets in Lace stockings feel amazing on the skin as they are made of 100 % nylon. By the way: You will find more glamorous hoses in this blog post.
