There is nothing that enhances ones waist like a corset does. However, corsets aren’t very comfortable, a least when you wear them for a longer time. This is why I usually only choose them on special occasions. When I want to emphasise my waist in everyday life, I perfer a waist cincher. Those are much more comfortable and can look very beautiful as the “Demi” waist cincher by Vedette Shapewear proofs.
For sexy Curves: The “Demi” Waist Cincher by Vedette Shapewear
“Demi” is simply amazing: She enhances the curves and the removable straps for stockings are quite pratcitical. Lace details make the waist cincher a real head-turner and it would be a shame to wear “Demi” only underneath clothes. So I decided to simply put the waist cincher over a black top.
By the way: In this blog post, I introduce the “Florence” Body by Vedette, which is another lovely and elegant shapewear piece. đ
A glamorous retro Outfit inspired by the 50s
To match the waist cincher, I chose neutral colours for the rest of my outfit. The beige flared skirt by Von 50, which I already showed you here, is one of my favs. Long opera gloves by Secrets in Lace as well as the Natalie Diamond Heel stockings add even more glamour to the vintage look.
A vintage hat, hair flowers by Sophisticated Lady, rose earrings by Glitter Paradise and a true vintage handbag finish the elegant 50s inspried retro outfit.
