The days are getting shorter, the wind is blowing all the colourful leaves off the trees, and things like cooking pumpkin soup, or searching for chestnuts are on top of my to-do list. It’s October and although I usually love to travel, I prefer to stay at home during this month. Mainly because golden October is nowhere as beautiful as it is in the Alpine Forland in the very South of Bavaria – at least, that’s my opinion. 😉 I simply love to stroll through the fields while enjoying the amazing view over the Alps. To match the red, yellow, and brown surrounding during this time of the year, I wear the Isabelle Skirt by The Seamstress of Bloomsbury in “Tartan” as well as a matching blouse by the same brand.
A Trip to the Countryside with the Isabelle Skirt by The Seamstress of Bloomsbury
The circle skirt is made of a beautiful cotton fabric and virtually perfect for a trip to the countryside. I especially love the pockets and that the Isabelle Skirt swings so amazingly with every movement.
I teamed the gorgeous swing skirt by The Seamstress of Bloomsbury with the Clarice Blouse in “Cream”. The long sleeves and all the lovely details like the buttons and the authentic front tie fastening make the blouse a must-have for autumn.
This relaxed vintage inspired outfit doesn’t require a lot of accessories. I only chose seamed stockings by Secrets in Lace, small earrings, as well as red pumps by Irregular Choice. For long walks, I replace the latter by loafers or ballet flats.
Dressed like this I enjoy the days in the countryside even more, and although I miss Munich a little bit, I think I’m going to stay a bit longer here. 😉
