A Walk in the Winter Wonderland

The new year started icy cold and with a lot of fresh snow. And now in January I can still enjoy winter. The icy air, the delicate snowflakes that fall from the trees as soon as there is just the slightest breeze and the “singing” ice of the lake transform nature into a real winter wonderland. And even though I like to spend winter days at home, wrapped up in a blanket and sipping rose tea, I am immediately drawn outside when the sun is shining. Wrapped up warm in my favorite winter coat, I like to walk just listening to the crunchy snow and enjoy every ray of sunshine on my nose (don’t forget sunscreen ;-)).

Layering is key during winter and so I rely on authentic underwear and warm basics for my winter looks. You can find out all about it in this blog post.

The highlight of my outfit is definitely my warm winter coat, the Snow White Coat, in a quilted look by Ginger Jackie. Unfortunately it is no longer available and I couldn’t find an alternative that really comes close to my model. But maybe there is something here for you anyway:

Of course, warm accessories such as a vintage hat and elegant gloves are a must.
