I love opulent dresses, huge skirt, fabulous prints, and colours. Nevertheless, I sometimes prefer all black everything outfits. The darkest of all colours is just incredible elegant and variable. One can wear black in a very classy way in form of the little black dress, or simply play with materials and light accents. In this blogpost, I’m going to show you a very subtle but chic outfit, which works perfectly for everyday-life or dinner with friends.
Elegant and subtle: A simple retro Outfit in Black
Black outfits are my first choice when I don’t know what to wear. They always look elegant but never ever overdressed.
As so often lately, the lovely Circle Skirt “Daisy” by Vivien of Holloway is the base of my outfit. Find other combinations with this gorgeous skirt here as well as here. But instead of a colourful top, I’m wearing a simple black rollneck sweater, this time. My only accessories are the true vintage earrings from wunder-same-vintage and a beautiful watch by Jacques Lemans.
Warm tights and chic shoes by Miss L-Fire finish the retro look.

A simple Makeup for every day
Even my makeup is very simple this time. I’m only wearing a CC cream to make my skin look even. On my lids, I apply a little bit of nude eyeshadow and use some mascara by Dr. Hauschka. Blush makes me look fresher and on my lips, I’m wearing the Dior Addict Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub and on top the Dior Addict Lipstick in a natural shade – that’s it.
