Is there something like love at first sight? Definietely yes! When I saw the Palm Dress by Grünten Mode for the very first time, I immediately had to have it. And after having really bad weather and even snow here in Southern Germany, I was super happy when I finally had the opportunity to wear it outside.
A Day at the Isar with the Palm Dress by Grünten Mode
A walk at the waterside is something I always really enjoy, as you maybe already know from this blog post. In a light summer dress, this is even more beautiful! The Palm Dress by Grünten Mode is absolutely perfect for this occasion. The viscose fabric feels amazing on the skin, while the cut with a tight top, short flared sleeves, and a swinging skirt looks very classy. However, the real highlight of the dress is definitely the palm print. It always reminds me of summer, sun, and the sea.
If one lives in Munich and is therefore far away from the sea, one has to settle for the Isar. There, it’s quite beautiful as well. It’s the perfect place to escape from the busy city life and to soak up the sun. Of course you shouldn’t forget your most stylish sunglasses! Mine are by Miu Miu and my favourites at the moment.
I teamed the Palm Dress with wedges by Miss L-Fire. Those are perfect for longer walks, as they look super stylish but are still very comfortable. Bamboo earrings by Glitter Paradise as well as a vintage handbag finish the retro outfit. Since it was a little bit chilly, I decided to take a white cardigan with me.

Sexy Curls and classy red Lips
Sexy curls go very well with the Palm Dress, in my opinion. To get those, I used sleep-in rollers overnight for the upper part of my hair. I pinned my short, lower hair into pin curls and brushed everything out in the morning. You can pin your hair back on one side with the help of a pretty clip if you like – that’s it!
My makeup is very classy as well. I used the Dior Eye Reviver Palette for my eye lids, applied eyeliner and used a lot of mascara. A hint of blush makes you skin look fresher while a classy red lipstick like “Dangerously Chic” by Mac for example finishes the retro makeup
