Wonderful small retro shops and brands
With the beginning of autumn, temperatures dropped drastically here in Germany. So my favourite season really starts now. However, with the colourful leaves and rainy days, a kind of melancholy mood catches me. These almost carefree days with café and restaurant visits at the terrasse, as well as smaller meetings with friends and family outside are over, and noone really knows what comes next. Nevertheless, I try to make the best out of the situation, prepare myself for cosy days with good books at home, and enjoy looking at the wonderful new autumn fashion.
If you are searching for a few autumn garments and/or accessories as well, you may want to support some small retro shops and labels that really had a hard time the last few month. In this blogpost, I already introduced some wonderful small retro brands from Germany, and in the following, I want to share my favourite small, international retro shops and brands with you.

The Seamstress of Bloomsbury has a huge archive full of original 1940s cuts. So it is no wonder that this brand offers amazing and very authentic 40s style garments. Furthermore, they mainly use natural fibres like crepe de chine and cotton. I own lots of wonderful clothes by The Seamstress of Bloomsbury – from dresses, to blouses, and skirts, as well as trousers – and really enjoy wearing them.
