I’ve always been obsessed with cats! They are so fascinating and elegant. If I could decide what I would be in the next life, I would definitely choose a spoilt tomcat. Just as my own male cat does, I would eat, sleep, go out for a walk every now and then, and let me stroke whenever I want. I’m already practicing for this and therefore wearing my cat ears, which I already showed you here. Such fancy accessories goe best with a simple day dress. In this case I chose the super comfy and lovely Broadway Dress by Vive Maria.
Comfy and chic: The Broadway Dress by Vive Maria
I really love the dresses by Vive Maria as they are so comfortable but always stylish and are therefore perfect for long days or nights. The Broadway Dress is no exeption. A wonderful floral print and lace details at the neckline let the dress look super summery and light. I also love how the slightly flared skirt swirls around the leges. Since the Broadway Dress has no sleeves, I decided to take a white cardigan with me. Here in Germany, you never know if the weather switches or a thunderstrom is on the horizon.
Who wears cat ears doesn’t need a lot of other accessories. I wear nothing else but rose earrings by Glitter Paradise, a vintage handbag, and pink flats. In these, I’m able to walk around the whole day and even jump. 😉
A 60s Hairstyle and colourful Spring Makeup
My hairstyle this time is inspired by the swinging 60s. I teased the upper part of my hair, pinned it back with the help of bobby pins and used a lot of hairspray. Afterwards, I put on my hairband – that’s it.
I wanted a simple but colourful makeup and therefore used pastel-colours form the Dior 5 Couleurs Glowing Gardens Palette. Unfortunately the eyeshadow palette was from a limited edition and is therefore no longer available.
I applied a light yellow eyeshadow on the inner third of my eyelid. On the outter part I used a natural pink shade. To enhance the crease, I used a darker lilac shade and blended it with a light green eyeshadow. Afterwards I used lots of mascara and some eyebrow powder. Pink blush and a gloss in the same shade finish the colourful spring makeup.
