Is there something more beautiful than spending the first warm days of the year at the waterside? If the water lies in front of a breathtaking mountain panorama like the Forggensee does, all the better. The best time for a walk at the lake is the early evening, in my opinion. There are only a few people outside, the water looks so peaceful, and the sun enlightens the alps in the most amazing way. Of course a trip to the lake requires a comfortable outfit. And it should be maritime, obviously. The Lovely Heart Collar Dress by Pussy Deluxe is both, comfy and maritime (and super stylish, by the way). This is why I immediately felt in love with this garment.
A Day at the Lake with the Lovely Heart Collar Dress by Pussy Deluxe
The dress is a bit shorter than what I usually wear and ends just above my knees. However, I feel very comfortable in it, not least due to the super stretchy fabric. Another thing I really like about the garment is that it doesn’t crease which makes it perfect for travelling. The cute white collar as well as the skirt with heart print add that certain something to the Lovely Heart Collar Dress and make it a real eyecatcher.
When it comes to accessories, I thought less is more in this case. To match the maritme style of the outfit, I chose shell earrings and white pumps. A black true vintage handbag from the 60s finishes the vintage inspired look.
A 60s inspired retro Makeup
I usually don’t wear blue eyeshadow, but this time I gave it a try and must admit that I really like it. I applied a lighter blue on my eyelid and used a darker shade for my crease. A cat eyeliner as well as lots of mascara finish the eye makeup.
For my lips, I used a natural rose coloured shade. A hint of pink blush makes your face look fresher and completes the simple 60s inspired makeup.
