A Call the Midwife inspired Outfit
There are series that make me feel like coming home. One of them is Call the Midwife. Call the Midwife is a period drama series about a group of nurse midwives and nuns working in the monastery Nonnatus House in Poplar, a poor distirict in the East End of London in the 1950s and 1960s.
During the Corona lockdowns, I liked to watch the series to get this feeling of normality. And now, when busy everyday life is back, I like to watch Call the Midwife to relax after a long day at work.
A Outfit inspired by Call the Midwife
The midwives have some very typical work uniforms that consist of a light blue dress and a red cardigan as well as an apron. This look is super easy to restyle and is simply perfect for a day at home. I believe, homework definitely makes more fun when I wear something pretty. And if the door bell rings, I am still dressed perfectly well to open the door. 😉
