50s inspired summer look: An orange dress and stylish accessories

As in the previous years, I want to share my daily vacation outfits with and therefore will continue my style diary posts! After we started our holidays in Croatia with a very relaxed first evening, we decided to visit Biograd na Moru on day two. Beside watching the sunset, dinner was also on our agenda so I went for a gorgeous orangy red retro dress by Joanie Clothing.

I already showed you the dress called “Pepper” in this blogpost. Even back in spring, I told you how perfect this colour would be for summer. And during golden hour, just before sunset, the colour looked especially beautiful.

Just like last time, I teamed the 50s inspired dress with sparkly ethno earrings and a thin black belt. My shoes this time are, however, a bit different: I went for comfy but super stylish wedges by Miss L-Fire. And instead of a black patent leather bag, I chose a round straw shoulder bag so I can use my hands for taking pictures or fishing boats. 😉 And of course, gorgeous sunglasses are a must, too. I bought mine during a trip to Hamburg last summer.

A bright Summer Makeup
My makeup this time is quite bright, as I wanted to use all the colour of the sunset. 😉 I start with a foundation and for my eyes, I use the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette. Afterwards, I apply lots of mascara and bronzer from the Makeup Revolution Golden Sugar Palette. The pretty red “Fire & Ice” lipstick by Revlon finishes this summer makeup.
