The salty sea breeze, the sound of the waves, dreamy sunsets, the smell of delicious food – we really enjoy our well deserved vacation and I found the perfect place to calm down and gather new strength. 2018 just flew by so far with many ups and downs and therefore it’s time for me to finally simply enjoy the moment. We spent our first holiday at the beach and went out for a walk in the evening sun, afterwards. To match the holiday mood, I’m wearing Lisa in “Pink Hawaii” by The Seamstress of Bloomsbury.

Tropical Beauty: “Lisa” by The Seamstress of Bloomsbury in “Pink Hawaii”

You maybe already know “Lisa” from this blogpost about a 40s inspired daytime look, where I showed you the “Blue Ribbon” design. I really like the light Crepe de Chine fabric as well as the cut and certainly since I saw the dress on Harlow Darling, I knew I need it in “Pink Hawaii” as well. The tropical print with palm leaves is simply perfect for summer. Therefore it’s no wonder that this one was the first dress I packed for my vacation in Croatia.

I teamed Lisa tone-on-tone with pink flats, a gorgeous clutch as well as white retro sunnies. Silvery earrings by Swarovski finish this relaxed but stylish holiday outfit inspired by the 40s.

Think Pink: A fresh Summer Makeup

Just a few years ago, I wouldn’t have left house without a perfectly winged eyeliner. By now, I also enjoy wearing a more natural makeup, especially in summer.

For my look this time, I start with the CC Cream by Chanel and apply the Guerlain MĂ©tĂ©orites afterwards. On my lids, I skip eyeshadow and use the Highligher “Pink Opal” form the Alchemist Holographic Palette von Kat Von D for a pink glow, instead. Then, I use lots of mascara and apply pink blush. On my lips, I first use the Dior Addict Sugar Lip Scrub and add some colour with the Dior Addict Lip Stick in “Fuchsia Twist” – that’s it.
