Knee-length skirts, retro tops, red lipstick, stockings – this is how you know me. I definitely love this kind of style, however, every now and then I want to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. This is why I replaced my beloved midi skirts by a shorter velvet version, this time. I usually team mini skirts with high-necked tops. A wonderful example is the knitted vintage sweater from the online shop Daisy Del Sol.
Mini Skirt and High-necked Sweater: A modern 60s Look with Daisy Del Sol
Just like I do, the founders of Daisy Del Sol like to mix vintage with modern fashion. Therefore, they not only offer wonderful true vintage pieces, but also new clothes from their own fashion brand.
I teamed my sweater from the 60s with a short skirt by Sandro Paris. Fancy tights with cat designs by Calzedonia and pumps with sparkly details add that certain something to the outfit, while a true vitnage handbag, also from Daisy Del Sol, finishes the modern 60s outfit.
A modern 60s Makeup
Even my makeup is a bit more modern, this time. A CC Cream is the perfect base for this look, as it covers redness and spots, but still looks quite natural. I completely skipped eyeshadow and only wear eyeliner as well as mascara on my eyes. Pink blush as well as a colour matching lipstick make your face look fresher and finish the makeup.
