The hottest tights trends for 2024/25
The hottest tights trends of the season remind us of ballerinas, sassy French CanCan dancers and hip street style stars. Trends for pretty hosiery have not been as different and classic as this year for a long time. In this blog post I’ll tell you which stockings we can’t do without this season.
Ballerinacore: White tights on the rise
After red tights were the big trend last year, this year it will be a little less colorful, but no less stylish. White tights are a huge trend and not without reason: contrary to expectations, when combined correctly, they can also look super stylish on adult women. They bring variety into play and are something different than the classic black tights. White tights also go wonderfully with patterned and colorful outfits. The so-called ballerina core is already very trendy, so the white hosiery fits perfectly. But I prefer to wear them with cheeky 60s looks.
Tip: Sheer white stockings with white dots (e.g. from Agent Provocateur*) look very elegant and much more subtle.

Tights trends 2024/25: Gray tights
In addition to white tights, gray tights are currently very popular. Whether worn as delicate stockings or thick wool tights, models in gray should definitely not be missing this season. The great thing about it: Gray tights can be easily combined and go perfectly with both casual and very elegant outfits.
Tip: Gray nylons with seams (e.g. from Secrets in Lace) look particularly elegant.

Cool fishnet tights are the tights trend for wild fashionistas
Admittedly, fishnet tights have been seen again and again for a long time – whether on the catwalk, red carpet or the streets of fashion metropolises. But this season they are really making it big again. Whether with an elegant evening dress, a stylish midi skirt or a cheeky mini dress – fishnet tights take every outfit to a new level of fashion and therefore really belong in every wardrobe. I’ll tell you the exciting history of fishnet tights and what they have to do with French CanCan dancers in this blog post.
Tip: The finer the mesh of the tights are, the more subtle and elegant they look. Fishnet tights in your own skin color (e.g. via AboutYou*) are particularly stylish because they are not so noticeable.

Seductive pantyhose trend 2024/25: Visibly worn suspender stockings
Admittedly, this tights trend, as seen on the catwalk at Saint Laurent, requires a lot of courage and is not really suitable for everyday wear. Suspender stockings that are visibly worn appear very sexy and are therefore particularly suitable for wild party nights. It’s best to wear a high-necked top or a blazer, for example, to make it look stylish and a bit less sexy.
By the way: Nylons and stockings with suspenders can also be worn wonderfully in everyday life – but then with a longer skirt so that the welt of the stockings remains hidden. More tips in this post.
A great alternative to this very sexy tights trend are over-the-knee tights. These look wonderful with mini skirts and are much more suitable for everyday life. 😉

A long time favorite tights trend: lace tights
Lace patterned tights remain trendy and always remind me a bit of Blair Waldorf. They come across as either romantically playful or super dramatic. By the way, black lace tights are a little easier to combine and go just as well with dark autumn and even Halloween outfits as they do with beige skirts. Every now and then I also like to use colorful models such as purple stockings. By the way, you can combine two current tights trends with white lace tights. 😉
