How could a Sunday afternoon be better spend than with coffee, cake, and pretty new dresses? I visited my dear friend Sara from the 60s label Grünten Mode in her atelier in Allgäu again. In this blogpost, I already told you more about the German fashion label. And now, I’m going to show you some snapshots from the latest Grünten Mode spring/summer collection 2018 and tell you how to style the new designs.
Fresh Colours, sassy Cuts: The Grünte Mode Spring/Summer Collection 2018
Summer will be colourful and maritime! I love soft colours like peach, light pink, and beige all year round, but in spring and summer those shades look particularly well. So it’s no wonder that I fell in love with the Peach Jumpsuit the moment I saw it. This summery light piece looks absolutely fabulous in combination with a straw bag, wedges, and bamboo earrings. A perfekt outfit for a day at the beach, a stroll through the city or a relaxed afternoon with friends.
Another summer dream is Dolly P.’s House Dress. Due to the Empire cut this garment is not only a perfect house dress, but also a wonderful dress for summer evenings with friends. I’m wearing the matching shift dress underneath Dolly P.’s House Dress, but if you like it more thrilling, wear pretty retro underwear underneath and nothing else. 😉
Of course Grünten Mode also offers some sassy 60s inspired mini dresses this season. I especially love the one with the retro wallpaper print. This dress doesn’t need a lot of accessories and is such a gorgeous companion for hot summer days.
I can’t resist maritime retro outfits so of course I’m in love with this ensemble consisting of a swing skirt with anchor print and a striped top. Team the outfit with pretty red shoes, a straw bag and you are ready to go! Isn’t this look perfect for a boat trip or walk at the waterside?
My favourite desingt from the new Grünte Mode collection, however, is the Rose Skirt. I love the midi length and the charming flower print. I especially like the combination of the Rose Skirt with a romantic lace blouse, and white heels. I’m dreaming of dancing in a flower meadow or sitting in a charming café with this outfit.
Grünten Mode: Sustainable 60s inspired Fashion from Germany
As always, all the Grünten Mode designs are handmade in Germany. Sara only uses high-quality fabrics that feel good on the skin and are long-lasting. So her clothes are pieces you are going to wear for many years!
Most of the featured garments are already available in the Grünten Mode online shop, the others will be online soon.
I hope you enjoyed looking at those new desings as much as I did!
