What I enjoy most about living in a huge city are the beautiful cafés! It doesn’t matter if you want to have breakfast, if you meet for an extensive brunch, or simply want to have a coffee during your break; there is a beautiful café for everyone and every occasion! By now, I can call myself a café expert and therefore, I’m going to show you some of the best and most beautiful cafés in my hometown Munich. 😉
Beautiful Cafés in Munich: Café Lotti
The Café Lotti is a dream! Light pink walls, chandeliers and pretty flowers – the perfect place for a coffee date with your best friend. There are lots of different breakfast options available: True classics from Munich such as Weißwurst and Breze (prezel), healthy mueslis, and even vegan options. Café Lotti also offers a lunch menu, as well as snacks, and cakes of course.

Beautiful Cafés in Munich: Stereo Cafe
Unfortunately, the Stereo Cafe does no longer exist in this form. However, it has a new owner now and is pursued under the name Café @ Belstaff.
Stero Cafe is not only super stylish, it’s also very centrally located. Between Odeonsplatz and Marienplatz, to be precise. Therefore, it’s perfect for a break during a shopping trip, especially as it’s located in the first floor of a store. Stereo Cafe is a bit hidden and a true insider tip. Afterwards, you should definitely caress the lion at Odeonsplatz, this is said to bring good luck. 😉

Beautiful Cafés in Munich: Schneewittchen Café am Glockenbach
The Schneewittchen (Snow Whit) Café am Glockenbach is stylish, chic and minimalistic. The coffee and cakes are really delicious and the staff is super nice. Furthermore, you will find a little shop with home furnishings and greeting cards in the café – definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful Cafés in Munich: Ladencafé Marais
Ladencafé Marais is a café and vintage shop rolled into one! While having coffee and cake, you can already have a look at the antiques, vintage accessories, and organic cosmetics that are selled there. By the way: This has been a textile store before and you will still find the original furnitures from the 20s in there. This really is the perfect place for vintage and coffee addicts like me! So if you are in Munich, definitely make sure to visit this beautiful and special place!
