Dita Cardigan and Irma Skirt by Wheels and Dollbaby

Spring still didn’t really arrive here in southern Germany. After one sunny day, at least two snowy or rainy days will follow, currently. So while my summery dresses are still stored in my wardrobe, I currently enjoy wearing my cardigans and knitwear. One of my favourites is the Dita Cardigan by Wheels and Dollbaby. This one not only looks good with capri trousers, but also with sexy pencil skirts. In the following, I especially want to talk about the latter one.

A while ago, the Australian brand Wheels and Dollbaby announced that they will stop their business. But now, they are luckily back and have a few of their most popular styles back in stock! I especially love the Dita von Teese Cardigans as well as their figure-hugging skirts and dresses. Since I already talked about the cardigan in a previous post, I now want to focus on a very pretty pencil skirt.

The Irma Skirt is a very figure-hugging, high-waist pencil skirt made of a lovely shiny satin fabric. The skirt has some amazing velvet covered buttons and can therefore be worn in a classy way or in a more sexy way with some open buttons. I absolutely love how good the skirt looks in combination with the Dita Cardigan. But you can also team the skirt with a classy white blouse or a fancy top.

What I am wearing underneath:

As the skirt is so tight and shiny, it is possible that the lines of your underwear show through – especially if you wear a garter belt. If you don’t care about this – wonderful! But if you prefer a more discreet look, I recommend to wear tights underneath this skirt. PS: In my next blogpost, I am going to talk a bit more about the beautiful front seam tights. 😉

Underneath the cardigan, I am wearing the Overwire Bra* from the Dita von Teese Lingerie collection. Especially under sweaters, cardigans and blouses, I like to wear more vintage style bras with a kind of a more pointy/natural shape.

It would be great to see this outfit worn with vintage nylon stockings.
I would be ingested to see the difference in out line of the skirt
