A new season always means a wardrobe change. I actually really love autumn and winter fashion, however, I’m now excited to wear colourful, light dresses. Summer dresses, especially reproductions, are often very romantic with flared skirts and lots of chichi. I like this kind of style! Nevertheless, I simply can’t resist a fitted, clean dress that enhances a woman’s curves. This is why I’m super happy that I found this green summer dress by Von 50′.
Subtle and elegant: A green Summer Dress by Von 50′
The Von 50′ summer dress has a green/blue colour and is made of a very comfortable jersey fabric and feels great on the skin. Furthermore, it’s great for travelling as it doesn’t wrinkel. I especially love the back v-neckline. Dependending on the accessories, the dress looks great in everyday life as well as in the evening.
Although temperatures are quite high during the day, in the evening, it always get a bit chilly. Therefore, I team the dress with a light cardigan. Furthermore, I’m wearing tights by Wolford with colour-matching dots.
The rest of my accessories are quite summery. My white hairflower by SophisticatedFlowers matches the cardigan perfectly and adds that certain something to the outfit. The beautiful retro handbag is by Woody Ellen and goes very well with such spring/summer outfits. Just as in this outfitpost, lovely heels by Joe Browns Couture finish this vintage inspired outfit.
PS: Unfortunately, the dress is no longer available as Von 50′ closed their online shop. But I linked some beautiful alternatives in the “Outfit Details” below.
A summery retro Makeup
My makeup is very classy. I start with a foundation like the CC Cream by Chanel for example. Afterwards, I use the Guerlain Météorites for a lovely glow. On my lids, I apply a primer and then a subtle eyeshadow; I like the Eye Reviver palette by Dior. A cat-eyeliner and lots of mascara finish the eye makeup. Pink blush makes my teint look fresher and pink lipstick is the cherry on the cake of this retro makeup for spring/summer.
