The traditional dress “Gretl” by Lena Hoschek styled for different occasions
There are dresses that are so romantic and kitschy, you simply have to love them! The traditional dress “Gretl” by Lena Hoschek is exactly such a dress. To be honest: “Gretl” is quite an investment, but definitely worth the money, in my opinion, especially if you live in Bavaria. I’ve worn the dress on weddings, on trips to the mountains and in everyday life. Styled in different ways, it also works for different seasons.
The Traditional Dress “Gretl” by Lena Hoschek
“Gretl” is part of the Lena Hoschek traditional line. Different colours and patterns every season make sure it never gets boring. The dress has so many wonderful details like ribbons, puffy sleeves, a pretty collar and lovely buttons.
I bought my dress a couple of years ago and went for a dark red option. This colour is perfect, in my opinion, as it doesn’t look too kitschy. In the Lena Hoschek store in KitzbĂĽhel I also tried on different colours and really liked them as well. Still, I personally love the dark red the most. You will find a similar one here, by the way.
And now, I want to show you some different styling ideas for this traditional dress.
