My retro pram by Retro Deluxe
Something I was really looking forward to when I was pregnant: going for walks with a pram! I liked that a lot as a child – at that time, however, with a doll’s pram and my “baby” didn’t always stay completely dry, as the picture at the end of the article proves. 😉 But let’s get back to the here and now. Pushing a stroller is still just as much fun for me as it was then, not least thanks to my super cool vintage-look pram.
My retro Pram by Retro Deluxe
I’ve always wanted a stroller with a retro look and a nice wicker bassinet (I wasn’t even pregnant then – haha ;-)). That’s why my model from Retro Deluxe (for example via Amazon* or MeinKinderwagen*) gives me such great pleasure. The pram is only made to look old and has all the functions of a modern one. You can fold it and remove the bassinet, although I have to admit that the bassinet is quite bulky in the trunk, so it needs enough space in the car if you want to take it with you.
The bassinet has a ventilation window for hot summer days and a seesaw function. So you can put the bassinet down on the ground and rock it. Incidentally, this turned out to be very helpful whenever we were visiting friends.
The large, air-filled wheels are particularly practical, especially in the countryside. You can even drive well over gravel and cobblestones. Curbs or smaller steps also cause no problems.
By the way: At MeinKinderwagen* you can even configure the Retro Deluxe pram. Different colors are available for the bassinet, the fabric and the tires. I opted for a classic variant with a natural wicker bassinet, grey fabric and black tires.
A little anecdote: I get compliments on the pram every time I go out for a walk. 😉
A nursing-friendly Outfit for a relaxed Walk
I wouldn’t be a good fashion blogger if I didn’t also say a few words about my outfit. You may already know the red trousers from this article. That’s why my top from Vertbaudet* is particularly worth mentioning. This has several advantages: I bought it when I was pregnant and was happy to wear it until the end of my pregnancy. By the way, it still fits me and thanks to the buttons on the neckline, it is also breastfeeding-friendly. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be available anymore, but there are some alternatives in the online shop.
Otherwise, I put on large sunglasses that cover the dark circles under my eyes, as well as a fake ponytail (via Amazon*), which makes my hair look fuller and perfect in no time and without much effort (in the mornings I have to be very quickly now ;-)).
