A dress like from the Wild West: The Saddle Dress by Lena Hoschek
Snow-covered mountains and harsh nature – the Bavarian foothills of the Alps may not be able to keep up with the sheer endless expanse and limitless freedom of the Wild West, but the landscape here is at least as impressive. And with Lena Hoschek’s Jolene collection we can now feel the Wild West feeling too. Fringes, leather looks and denim are not only suitable for cowgirls, they also look great on us. I particularly like that this collection fits wonderfully into my new life in the country (just like this year’s summer Cottagecore collection). This time I was particularly impressed by many of the pieces. I would now like to introduce you to one of my absolute favorite dresses.

The Saddle Dress by Lena Hoschek
Whenever I spend a large amount of money on an item of clothing, I make sure that I can wear it as often as possible. Accordingly, I much prefer to buy expensive pieces for everyday wear rather than for special occasions. After all, everyday dresses can theoretically be worn every day, while the mega glamorous gown might be worn once a year. Of course, it’s even better if you can wear the item of clothing both during the day and in the evening. And that’s exactly what’s possible with the Saddle Dress by Lena Hoschek.
The saddle dress is a type of coat dress and exudes Wild West vibes, but is still elegant and subtle enough for everyday wear. In addition to the cut, I particularly like the color combination of black and a dark purple-red. There is an exciting suede look detail on the back. In combination with flat, black boots from Stuart Weitzman (very similar e.g. via Fashionette*) and a felt hat (very similar e.g. via Farfetch*), the dress is absolutely perfect for everyday life in the country. You are simply perfectly dressed for a walk in nature, a visit to a café or even a shopping trip to the city.
If the occasion calls for a more elegant wardrobe, the dress also looks wonderful in combination with seamed stockings, pumps and a waist belt.
