A spooky autumn look
Mystical fields of fog, bare trees and long, dark nights – late autumn is so wonderfully gloomy and moody, so I’m currently only too happy to indulge in my dark side. I harvested most of my herbs from the garden and so the bunches are now hanging around our house to dry, which is also a really cool decoration, I think. At the moment my kitchen looks like a witch’s kitchen anyway. The remaining tomatoes are lying around to ripen in the warmth. My preserving jars are lying around to preserve the last harvest and in between there are pumpkins and all sorts of other Halloween decorations. It goes without saying that my outfits are currently pretty dark and witch-inspired.
Speaking of witches: A perfect Halloween series is “Salem”, in my opinion. To stream on Disney+.
My dark fall outfit
The color black definitely dominates, white lace collars, spider accessories and blood-red lips provide cool accents.

My dark Femkit Dress
Femkit is a Berlin based label with great, vintage-inspired clothing – heavily inspired by the Dark Academia style. Most of the clothes from the online shop are made in Berlin, the rest in Poland. I think the prices are really fair and I’ve been eyeing a few dresses from the collection for a long time. Now I snapped up and ordered two models. One of them is the black dress with a white lace collar from this blog post.
I think the designs are really beautiful and I also like the quality – definitely a very good price-performance ratio. The dress is definitely not only stylish, but also super comfortable.
However, it is a bit loose on my waist, but I don’t think that’s a problem. This is actually very comfy, especially in everyday life. However, if I want a slightly more accentuated waist, I simply wear a waist belt over it.
Eerily beautiful accessories for the black dress
Every year around Halloween, my Butler and Wilson vintage spiders are allowed out of the closet. This time I place the large brooch on my shoulder while the earrings perfect the look – definitely very beautiful and glamorous dark companions.
In addition to the blood-red belt, I’m going for dark red lips, pumps that aren’t too high and very cool Halloween tights with spiders on them (from Fiore, e.g. via Amazon*).
