Festive and dark: The Vampire’s Wife x H&M collection
I absolutely adore festive garments with lots of sparkles, silver and velvet. Nevertheless, they can be a bit tricky to wear as soon as Christmas time is over. But this doesn’t have to be the case, as The Vampire’s Wife x H&M collection prooves.

The Vampire’s Wife x H&M Collection
I am such a big fan of The Vampire’s Wife. However, the garments by this luxury brand are ways too expensive for me. So it is no wonder that I went a little bit crazy when The Vampire’s Wife teamed up with H&M and I almost bought the complete collection.
The garments are seductive and dark at the same time – what a wonderful combination! All in all, the pieces from the collection are quite easy to style and wear, though. Well, the mini dresses are a bit short, but in combination with dark tights, they are still a great choice – even for everyday life.
You can style the garments either festive, suitable for parties, or elegant.

Velvet Dress with Bow
Let’s start with the wonderful velvet dress with a bow and long, puffy sleeves. The cut of the dress is quite loose, and the ruffles at the hemline are simply wonderful. The highlight of this dress, though, is definitely the bow at the collar. I teamed the dress with dark tights, a Christmas fascinator as well as the cape from the same collection – wouldn’t this be a wonderful and oh so different Christmas outfit?

Mini Velvet Dress
Another velvet mini dress, but with long lace sleeves this time. The small shoulder pads as well as a belt at the back of the dress create a wonderful silhouette. To finish the look, I went for dark tights, lace-up boots as well as a fascinator – that’s it. 🙂

Long Lace Dress
The long lace dress is one of my favourites from the collection. I absolutely adore the lace sleeves with the little shoulder pads. And this dress is quite easy to wear! With warm tights and boots, it goes well during cold season. But I am also going to wear it in summer – only with flat sandals and maybe a hat. If you prefer a more thrilling outfit, wear the cape from The Vampire’s Wife x H&M collection on top and don’t forget a stylish fascinator.

Mini Lace Dress
The mini lace dress is super shiny and very glamorous – therefore it will be my New Year’s Eve outfit for this year, although we are just going to stay at home.
In combination with decorated tights, a festive fascinator as well as the cape from the collection, the outfit looks very festive.

Cape with Lace
Last but not least, let’s talk about the wonderful shiny lace cape. As you can see in this blogpost, the cape can be worn with every dress from the collection and makes every outfit a real head-turner. It even has some small shoulder pads, so the silhouette of the cape is amazing. It might not be the most suitable piece of garment for everyday life, but the cape definitely is a wonderful choice for special occasions.
