A cute 60s look for everyday life
On a regular base, I receive questions on how to wear vintage and retro fashion in everyday life. I personally am convinced that everyone should wear whatever they want. But of course, I also understand that sometimes, we just want to wear something pretty that looks not too fancy. So whenever I long for an outfit that goes super well in everyday life, I choose the 1960s style. The fashion from this era is just the perfect combination of modern and retro – at least in my opinion.
A cute 60s Look for everyday Life
The base of my outfit is a lovely mini dress with animal print, which I bought a few years ago at & Other Stories. I already wore it for this summery blogpost, by the way. I believe, natural, earthy shades are always perfect when you want to achieve a more suitable look for everyday life. They still look very elegant, though.
As it still is quite chilly outside, I went for opaque tights that keep my legs warm. Shoes with a not so high heel as well as huge, fancy earrings finish this fun 1960s outfit.
The cherry on the cake of my look is my hairstyle, though. A voluminous ponytail is always a good idea – and so suitable for everyday life! I used a hairpiece to get more volume, read more about it here.
