Glamorous Christmas parties, decadent New Year’s Eve celebrations, and a lot of festivities – there is no other time of the year that is as glamorous as the days from the middle of November until the beginning of January. So to celebrate in style, I not only recommend elegant dresses, but also glamorous and sparkly nylons and tights. Those draw attention to the legs and are therefore a very special and seductive accessory. In this blogpost, I’m going to show you some wonderful nylons and tighs for the festive season, and tell you how to style them.
Sparkly “Love” Letters for Christmas Parties
What would be more suitable for Christmas than tights with sparkly “Love” letters? Nothing, I guess. 😉 The ones in the pictures are by Wolford, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find them online, anymore. You can shop very similar ones here*, though.
To make sure these pretty tights get all the attention, I recommend to team them with a dress that is no longer than knee-length. I went for a black and white lace dress by Vive Maria (similar here*) and a gorgeous red cape by Grünten Mode. Now, you only need some Christmassy accessories to finish your festive outfit.

Tights with Bows for Christmas
Beside sparkly details, tights with bows are another perfect accessory for Christmas. The tights in the photo are by Chantal Thomass, you will also find very similar ones here*, for example. What I really love about these, by the way, is the fact that they are super easy to combine and go very well with a lot of different outfits.
What about a classy red dress, for example? Mine is a true vintage one from the 1950s, but you will find similar dresses here*. Now, you only need a few lovely accessories like a hat* and gloves, and you are ready for a glamorous Christmas party.

Glamorous Nylons with golden Seams for festive Occasions
The elegant nylons by Secrets in Lace with a golden seam are glamorous, classy, and timeless at the same time. As the stockings are black, the golden seams stands out even better and the dark colour makes ones legs look slimmer.
These stocking are very easy to combine as well. No matter if you go for a little black dress, a long gown or a knee-length skirt – seamed stockings are always the cherry on the cake of your Christmas outfits.

Glamorous Nylons with red Seams for Christmas & festive Occasions
Dark stockings with red seams (also by Secrets in Lace) are just as glamorous as the ones with golden seams, and therefore absolutely perfect for Christmas and festive occasions as well. They are actually one of my favourites, especially as they go so well with my beloved red dresses.
But of course, these stockings also look great in combination with a little black dress. A retro coat* on top, red shoes, and a few accessories – you don’t need more for a glamorous and festive outfit.

Sparkly Details for Christmas & New Year’s Eve Parties
Those lovely tights with sparkly details are by Oroblu and at first sight, they almost look like as if they are part of the shoe. Well, they are not and therefore a wonderful way to pimp a classy pair of pumps for a glamorous party. You can shop the tights here*, by the way.
Just as the ones before, these tight are also super easy to combine. As the lovely detail can make your legs look a bit shorter, though, I recommend to wear them with dresses/skirts that are no longer than knee-length, especially if you are a little bit shorter, just as I am.

Sparkly Fishnet Tights for decadent Parties
Sparkly fishnet tights are simply perfect for decadent New Year’s Eve parties or other fun festivities. They always look a bit naughty but still glamorous. And if it gets cold outside, you can easily wear them on top of thermal tights. This is a great way to immediately dress up your outfit while staying warm. The fishnets you can see in the pictures are by Calzedonia and unfortunately, I couldn’t find them online anymore, but very similar ones are available here*, for example. And if you prefer something more subtle but still elegant, I recommend these tights by Wolford*.
No matter if short or long, white, black, or colourful: sparkly fishnet tights look amazing with every dress or skirt and are definitely made to be worn at parties. 😉

Another stylish way to make simple thermal tights more fashionable are fishnets with pearls. Plus: They look really great in combination with both, festive and more casual outfits. You will find very similar tights to the ones shown in the picture here*, by the way.

Funny Tights for the Christmas Day
After so much glamour and glitter, I don’t want to miss some funny tights for a relaxed Christmas Day with your loved ones. Kitschy Christmas patterns, and crazy colours are perfect for a fun day with lots of food and good mood. Just wear a cosy knitted black dress on top, and you are perfectly dressed for a lovely day with your family, but also to simply chill on your couch with sweets, mulled wine, and old Christmas movies. 😉
