Warm and elegant winter outfits
Well, winter really is here, by now. Between snow, icy streets and freezing cold temperatures, we might not always choose our prettiest outfits, but rather something practical and warm. I find this a pity, though! Especially as some walks outside are the only occasion currently, we can dress up for. And what’s most important: Warm outfits can look very stylish! So in the following, I am going to show you five (well, acutally even six) super warm and elegant winter outfits.
Tweed Dress and warm Accessories
A dress made of tweed is absolutely perfect for cold winter days! My pretty dress is by Von 50′, super warm and a real head-turner. Unfortunately, the dress no longer is available in beige, but you can get the same dress in grey*.
As the sleeves of the dress only reach my elbows, I recommend to wear it with long gloves*. They not only keep your lower arms warm, but also look super elegant, while thermal tights as well as winter shoes keep your legs and feet warm.
Depending on the weather, you can either wear a warm winter coat on top of the dress, or a cosy jacket. A chic beret finishes this elegant winter outfit.

Elegant Winter Outfits – perfect for the City
Let’s talk about another elegant but still super comfy winter outfit. A beige flared skirt as well as a simple black top are the base of the look. I team those garments with thermal tights and fishnet tights with pearls to make my legs look a bit more interesting. Of course those fishnet tights are optional, though. As an alternative, you can also wear a matching skirt and jacket.
On top of the skirt and top or the suit, I wear a warm retro coat. A stylish hat as well as a handbag and flat lace-up boots finish this warm and elegant winter outfit – perfect for cold days in the city!

Double Trouble: Red meets Grey
I personally absolutely adore grey winter garments, even though some might say we should rather wear something a bit more colourful when already everything is grey outside. But you know what? I don’t care. Grey garments are super easy to style and you also can add some colourful accessories to make the look more interesting. I, for example, went for red gloves and red lips, of course. And to make my outfit a bit more sassy, I chose fancy lace-up tights. On top, I wear a super warm and elegant coat.
My wonderful co-model is ElvaVintage, by the way. And as her outfit colour-matches mine in such a wonderful way, I decided to share her outfit details as well. 😉

Elegant Winter Outfits: A chic and warm Dress
The houndstooth dress by Von 50′* is by far the warmest dress I own! The fabric is super thick and really keeps you warm, even when it’s very cold outside. I teamed the dress with thermal tights, gloves and warm shoes. A fake-fur collar helps to keep my very sensitive to cold neck warm and looks stylish. A cosy jacket on top – that’s it.

A cosy Winter Outfit for snowy Days
Who would have thought you can even go out into a snow storm wearing a skirt? It’s just a matter of combination. I wear a cotton skirt together with thermal tights (as you can see in this blogpost, thermal tights are my must-have for winter ;-)) and warm boots. A turtleneck sweater, gloves, a beret as well as a warm coat finish the winter outfit.
